The Procedure
What to expect on treatment day.
Your lip filler appointment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. We begin by applying a topical numbing cream and may also use a dental nerve block for exceptional comfort. Mild swelling, tenderness, and possible light bruising are normal after lip fillers and typically peak within 24 to 48 hours. Applying ice and sleeping with your head elevated helps manage swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, and alcohol for 24 hours. Most clients are comfortable going out the same day. Final results are fully visible within 1 to 2 weeks, and lip filler typically lasts 6 to 12 months.
